The British Beer & Pub Association is the leading body representing Britain’s Brewers and Pub Companies. Our members account for some 90% of the beer brewed in Britain today and own more than 20,000 of the nation’s pubs. A strong voice for brewing and pubs and their unique role in British life is as vital today as it was 114 years ago when the Association was formed.
We mobilise members, supporters, pub partners, beer drinkers and pub goers to create value for our sector and our national economy, and to create jobs and increase investment. We want to tap into the UK’s passion for great beer and great pubs.
As a member, the BBPA saves you money and helps your bottom line. Our work as the leading trade association for beer and pubs in Britain is delivering real value to the sector. From the hundreds of millions saved through beer duty cuts that we led the campaigns for, to pub-specific business rates relief worth millions, the BBPA brings real benefits to its members.
In the last twelve months alone we have represented our members at hundreds of meetings with Government Ministers and officials across many Whitehall departments with the sole purpose of ensuring that the voice of beer and pubs is heard loud and clear. We bring our collective years of experience and expertise in campaigning Government and shaping policy to remain the most authoritative voice for beer and pubs, respected right across Whitehall and Westminster.
Whilst we look to build the widest possible coalitions across the food and drink and tourism and hospitality sectors, the BBPA is the only body that retains a forensic focus on beer and pubs in representing our members with Government and delivering tangible results.
