The British Beer and Pub Association has appointed Morgan Schondelmeier as its new Policy Manager for Tax and Trade.
Morgan joins the organisation, which represents UK pubs and brewers, from the Adam Smith Institute, where she served as Head Of External Affairs and later Director Of Operations.
Morgan moved to the UK from America to study master’s in International Political Economy at King’s College London and has written for a number of national dailies and appeared on political news shows including Newsnight.
Morgan Schondelmeier, Policy Manager for Tax And Trade said:
“I am delighted to have joined the BBPA and am passionate about supporting business in these trying times. The sector needs the government’s support, and I am determined to do what I can to make that happen.
“Pubs are woven into the fabric of British culture and anchor local communities. I look forward to championing them to the government and doing my utmost to help them thrive.”
Joining from the beginning of March 2023, Morgan will lead BBPA’s policy and advocacy work on tax and trade issues.
