Shraddha Kaul, Director of Communications and External Affairs at the British Beer and Pub Association said:
“I am very passionate about the power of pubs in driving social cohesion, tackling isolation and creating happier communities, and I’m delighted to join the BBPA at a time when British pubs and breweries need urgent support from Government to not only survive but thrive in the years to come.

“I am looking forward to working alongside our members to raise the profile of the UK’s pubs and breweries both to Government and in the media and championing business critical issues including crucial reform to beer duty and business rates.”

Joining from the beginning of December 2022, Shraddha will lead the communications and external affairs teams at the BBPA as they prepare for the launch of a rebrand and new website, she will also have responsibility for the Long Live the Local campaign.

Emma McClarkin, Chief Executive of the British Beer and Pub Association said:
