With a pivotal general election on the horizon, 2024 will be a game-changer for how the BBPA sets out to achieve and exceed our media and public affairs ambitions that raise the profile and support the beer and pub sector. That’s why we are now recruiting for our communications and external affairs team with Manager and Officer roles.
The new Campaigns and Communications Manager will be accountable for the BBPA’s high profile media coverage and expansion of its national media reach and influence. They will proactively manage, plan, and lead press activity, including the day to day running of the press office and developing direct relationships with national level journalists.
Our new communications Officer will have flair for writing with an ability to turn a phrase and draft press releases and other copy in quick order, are savvy on social media and website management, know how to adapt our tone of voice to different audiences across different platforms to increase our reach and influence, as well as an ability to manage internal comms member relationships.
